Accessibility Statement

MaxGen Labs wants every patient, practitioner and colleague to be able to use this portal. This statement says what we aim for, what we have done, what we know still falls short, and how to reach us.

Our standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA across the portal, and we test new features against it before they ship.

What we have done

The portal can be used with a keyboard alone; every control that can be dragged, including the slide-to-agree control, can also be operated with the arrow and End keys or with a checkbox and button. Pages use headings, landmarks, labels and live regions so that screen readers can navigate them. Colour is never the only way information is conveyed; call states and warnings also carry text. The portal respects your browser's text-size settings and offers a dark theme in Settings. Printed summaries use plain language and large type.

Known limitations

Some laboratory reports are delivered as PDF files produced by our reporting system and may not be fully tagged for screen readers; ask us for an accessible copy. Charts in the explorers carry text equivalents, but their fine detail may be hard to read at high magnification. Some third-party pages we link to, such as supplement dispensaries and Microsoft's sign-in pages, are outside our control.
